Bridging Heritage and Modernity

In Mumbai, where food is very popular, Anant Royal Sweets had to live up to its “Royal” name and stand out from other old sweet shops. The hardest part of the design process was going from traditional, jumbled packages to a more refined, modern look without losing the brand’s cultural identity. To protect the delicate, hand-made mithai made with ghee during shipping, the packing must also be strong and not absorb oil. It should also keep its high-end feel for giving as a gift.

Goal

Maintaining a premium, high-end feel so the box serves as a luxury gift, not just a container.

The idea was to turn Anant Royal Sweets into a high-end gift shop. I intended to make a “Modern-Heritage” visual language that used royal golds, rich emeralds, and soft earth tones. A royal architectural arch leads into a simple layout. We made sure that our brand family was the same across all package sizes (from 250g to 1kg) and product lines so that customers could quickly remember our brand and have an unwrapping experience that made them feel like royalty.

Result

Premium Branding & Market Growth

Anant Royal Sweets (Mumbai) transformed the business as a luxury corporate hamper and wedding gifts leader. We increased product value by using gold color  foiling and matte lamination. This container design increased brand visibility and digital engagement through organic social sharing. Elegant design, appealing to Indian consumers.
